It's my Lightning McQueen Birthday!!! Ka-Pow!! Ka-Chow!

Whenever asked what he wanted for his birthday, Blaine always replied, "Lightning McQueen birthday!!" So here it is...a Lightning McQueen racetrack birthday cake with real racing cars to boot! He was thrilled!! The only downside was having to "look but don't touch!" all day until daddy got home to celebrate...Blaine literally thought the world was ending! Needless to say, that was his favorite gift. Other highlights from the big 3 year old's day...breakfast in bed, balloons and streamers all over the house, "the cake birthday!", a cupcake party with his friends, going to the zoo with his sisters as well as Penguin Park and enjoying Grandpa's sketti (all at his request!). He also enjoyed his other gifts...a bike from our neighbor, "a wagon from my mommy", his first ball and glove from his "baseball grandpa" and a t-ball set, Cars coloring books and lots of love from family through cards and phone calls. He also got to celebrate earlier in the week at Red Robin where they sang "Happy Birthday to Blaine!" and got his own ice cream sundae which he was so willing to share with his sisters. We love our big boy!!
